Terms of Service

Version 1.0 · Effective August 6, 2026 · Last updated August 6, 2026

1. What Brillo is

Brillo is a communication and discovery platform for trading-card buyers, sellers, and collectors. We let you list, discover, message about, and arrange exchanges of cards. Brillo does not process payment between users, does not take ownership of or inspect any card, does not arrange logistics, and does not supervise or guarantee the outcome of any in-person meeting.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate account information and are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You're responsible for all activity that happens under your account. You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to use Brillo.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to: list counterfeit or stolen cards; use Brillo to harass, threaten, or defraud another user; attempt to circumvent any safety, payment, or account limit built into the platform; or use automated tools to scrape or abuse the service. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section. See our Acceptable Use Policy for the full list of prohibited conduct.

4. In-person meetings

If you choose to arrange an in-person pickup with another user, you do so entirely at your own risk. Brillo is only a communication and discovery platform -- we do not vet who you are meeting, do not supervise the meeting, and are not a party to whatever you exchange. Always meet in a safe, public location. See our Privacy Policy and In-Person Pickup Safety Policy for what safety-related information we record and require before a pickup is arranged.

5. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis through Stripe. Prices are shown on our Pricing page. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time from Billing; downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period unless stated otherwise at checkout. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods except where required by law. See our Subscription and Billing Terms for the full billing disclosure.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of the card photos, descriptions, and other content you upload. By posting it on Brillo, you give us permission to display and store it as needed to operate the features you use (your public profile, portfolio, listings, and so on).

7. Disclaimers

Brillo is provided "as is." Market prices, AI scan results, and grade estimates shown on the platform are informational references, not guarantees -- always verify a card's condition and value independently before buying, selling, or trading. We do not guarantee the accuracy, legitimacy, or condition of any listing created by another user.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Brillo is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including disputes, losses, or incidents arising from a transaction or meeting arranged between users.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Brillo after a change means you accept the updated terms. Material changes require your active re-acceptance before you can continue using affected features.
