Overview
This document is a working draft prepared for the Brillo platform. It is placeholder content pending review and finalization by a licensed attorney before it is relied upon as a binding legal document. Bracketed items such as [COMPANY LEGAL NAME] must be completed before this document is treated as final.
This document describes the billing terms for Brillo's paid subscription plans, shown in full at checkout before you confirm a plan.
What you'll see before you subscribe
Before starting a paid plan or free trial, Brillo displays the plan name, price, billing interval, trial length (if any), trial expiration date, the amount you'll be charged at renewal, a notice that the plan auto-renews, how to cancel, and our refund, upgrade, and downgrade policies. You must actively confirm these terms before a subscription begins.
Auto-renewal and cancellation
Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled first. You can cancel at any time from Billing; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then.
Refunds
We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods except where required by law. [REFUND POLICY DETAILS PENDING FINAL REVIEW]
Upgrades and downgrades
Upgrading takes effect immediately, with any price difference prorated for the current period. Downgrading takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
Payment processing
Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. Brillo does not store your card number.
